Practical tools for a better inclusive business
Welcome to BCtA’s toolkit centre. Whether you are looking to understand where your company sits along the inclusive business maturity journey, to better understand how to integrate human rights principles into your business, or to measure your impact towards the Sustainable Development Goals, we have the tools to guide you.
All of our toolkits are self-guiding and free of charge to use. Should you have any issues accessing them or have any questions, contact us on bcta@undp.org.
This toolkit was designed as a practical reference for business leaders as they seek to best position their companies for future success in the context of the SDGs. With considerations tailored to each company’s level of experience with inclusive business, the content is broadly applicable across the private sector. It also offers implications for actors seeking to design a more inclusive global ecosystem. Governments and social sector organizations can use this content to help support business leaders in developing inclusive businesses.
As a new era of purposeful business dawns, the strategies discussed are not solely intended to foster inclusive business for the purposes of advancing Global Goals, but to advise companies on a sustainable and profitable path forward.
The BCtA Impact Lab is the leading platform for inclusive businesses to better measure and manage their social and environmental impact. It covers the full impact measurement cycle to support companies in understanding, demonstrating, enhancing and communicating their impact. The BCtA Impact Lab goes through the impact measurement process over four distinct modules that can be completed at your own pace. It is a step by step process that covers defining your vision and goals; identifying the right tools for measurement; designing your own impact framework; sourcing and collecting data; and analyzing your company’s impact.
This toolkit aims to give practical guidance to businesses around the world on how to better respect human rights. Whether it’s doing a rapid assessment of human rights risks, gaining internal buy-in, or starting a grievance mechanism, these tools will help you better respect human rights throughout your business. This toolkit is part of the Business Call to Action and BSR’s Masterclass series on inclusive business and human rights – recordings of each of the sessions are also available in this toolkit.
