Focal Point Tunisia

Sofienne Zrelli is the Business Call to Action focal point in Tunisia. As part of his role as Tunisia focal point, Sofienne works on promoting the adoption and scaling up of inclusive business practices in Tunisia. After many years of experience in education, Sofienne entered the field of social innovation as a director at LAB’ESS (Laboratoire de l’Economie Sociale et Solidaire, an incubator for social entrepreneurs in Tunisia. His past experience includes working for UNFPA and UNESCO where he focused on strengthening the capacities of young people at the regional level and for countries in crisis to better enhance the role of young people in the maintenance of peace and reconstruction of their country through improving their skills and economic empowerment. He has also worked at We World GVC as a programme manager on the humanitarian needs for refugees, migrants and local communities on projects around health, WASH, protection and education.
