Register Today: Making Inclusive Business Work in Vietnam

Vietnam's economy is growing at an unprecedented 7 percent each year, making it one of Asia's fastest-growing economies. Despite this tremendous growth, many people in Vietnam continue to live in poverty and lack access to jobs, opportunities and services that can improve their lives.

Companies and firms operating in and investing in Vietnam are seeking to address this challenge through innovative "inclusive business" models that create new market opportunities for business while promoting economic growth and development for those at the base of the pyramid. This event will explore how firms are innovating business models that benefit the poor directly by providing low-income communities with access to goods, services and livelihood opportunities.

The interactive workshop sponsored by the Business Call to Action, International Business Leaders Forum,SNV, and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry will provide examples of successful inclusive business ventures and give participants the opportunity to discuss the challenges and solutions associated with integrating these models into operations. There will be an opportunity to discuss best practices in inclusive business with leading companies, experts, donor organizations and practitioners, and to explore potential areas of collaboration for future endeavors.
